Mauro and Rita Mazza live just outside of Bologna in the town of Imola, and organically farm their wines and vegetables over several plots spread east through the hills of Romagna. Mauro spends his days managing the vineyards and tending to the vines, while Rita helps dictate the harvest and acts as enologist. In additon to Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia and Biancame, Cà dei Quattro Archi (the House of Two Arches) produces a very unique “Bordelais” style blend, as well as makes the house wine for the oldest wine bar in the world; “Enoteca Al Brindisi” in Ferrara.
