Pet Nat is a wild and adventurous expression of weissburgunder, aka pinot blanc. Flinty in character with melon and bosc pear, lemon zest, an herbaceous nose, with a bone dry finish. Chill it down before opening, as it tends to foam up.

The father and son team of Erich and Johannes Weber specialize in linear, mineral high-acid, often bone-dry Rieslings from their 9 hectares, many on steep slopes, in the Saar-Mosel-Ruwer region. Casks are often separated by parcel so that you can find distinct, single-vineyard expressions, denoted with an AP numbering system. Farming is organic, cellar practices are minimalist, using only native yeasts.
