Rotwein is 100% Spätburgunder, aka pinot noir, making for a truly Burgundian red via the Mosel. Bright cherry with a mineral, forest-y character, just the right amount of spice and oak influence.

The father and son team of Erich and Johannes Weber specialize in linear, mineral high-acid, often bone-dry Rieslings from their 9 hectares, many on steep slopes, in the Saar-Mosel-Ruwer region. Casks are often separated by parcel so that you can find distinct, single-vineyard expressions, denoted with an AP numbering system. Farming is organic, cellar practices are minimalist, using only native yeasts.
