Joao Pato (Duckman) Vinho Tinto "Nerd Duck" 2021

Joao Pato, aka Duckman, is the alias of Mariana Pato, whose father Luis Pato and older sister Filipa Pato are well-known in the wine world in their own right, while she has established her own niche in the natural wine world with instantly recognizable wine labels featuring a myriad of ducks, inside of which are true wines of place, utilizing indigenous varietals and expressive of the distinct maritime influence of Bairrada.

Nerd Duck is made by macerating juice from white grapes (95% Fernao Pires) with red grape skins (5% Baga) for 5 days.
