La Dernière Goutte "Gamay Sans Frontière" 2019

After studying under Jean-Claude Lapalu, Cyrille Vuillod made his first vintage in 2012 and is now based in Brouilly where he makes a range of zero-zero Gamays throughout Beaujolais. He makes a more wild and adventurous style than the average Beaujolais, and they are prone to a healthy amount of funkiness. But that’s why we love them! Unfined and unfiltered.

Gamay Sans Frontieres originates from younger vines planted by Cyrille himself, fermented and aged in concrete vats. Light, fresh, gulpable with a light herbaceousness and touch of banana bread.
