La Derniere Goutte "Morgonflé" 2018
After studying under Jean-Claude Lapalu, Cyrille Vuillod made his first vintage in 2012 and is now based in Brouilly where he makes a range of zero-zero Gamays throughout Beaujolais. He makes a more wild and adventurous style than the average Beaujolais, and they are prone to a healthy amount of funkiness. But that’s why we love them! Unfined and unfiltered.
Morgonfle is made from Gamay grapes sourced from friends in neighboring Morgon. Aged in barrigues for 6 months. Darker-fruited, earthier, and more structured than its other Beaujolais brothers.
