Le Due Terre "Sacrisassi" Rosso 2017

Le Due Terre is a family run enterprise that has been making natural wine since the 80s (before it was cool), using organic farming techniques and non-interventionism in the cellar. Made from equal parts Schiopettino and Refosco, aged in old barriques, their Rosso is an expressive and emotional red with layers of dried herbs and tobacco and a touch of savory grit. An evocative red that is worth spending time with, i.e. not finishing immediately, so that you can see how it changes over a day or two.
