Nicola worked as an importer of Georgian wines before partnering with Michele to take over Michele’s grandfather’s vineyards in Calabria and create a ‘marani,’ a wine cellar in the Georgian tradition, in Italy. Gianni and Roldana joined subsequently to form the four-piece known as Menat, making cult zero-zero wines using Georgian qvevri.
