Ramon Jane and Merce Cusco are one-half of Mas Candi, another natural wine label that leans more on the traditional side, and their independent label allows them more room to experiment with indigenous Catalan varietals and unusual co-ferments.

Cabories is a blend of 42% Mandó, 40% Sumoll, and 18% Xarello. Mandó (red) and Xarello (white) macerate on the skins, while Sumoll (red) juice is direct pressed. A vibrant and wild light red. Plenty of wild berry, with a touch of plum, a spicy edge reminiscent of fennel, and bright acid to cut through fatty foods. Serve with a slight chill.
