UVA Rosso 2020

The U.V.A. label, which stands for Unione Vignaioli Abruzzesi, is made by Passione Natura, a collective of independent wine producers in Abruzzo, committed to traditional methods, biodynamic farming, and minimal interventions in the cellar. They are based out of the commune Popoli, a mountain town within a national park surrounded by glaciers. The Rosso is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes from 15 year-old vines grown at 350-400 meters altitude, fermented and aged in stainless steel. Notes of bing cherry and black currant, heady aromas of rose, earthy tannins.
